X-Rays and Imaging

Digital x-rays utilize an electronic sensor instead of traditional x-ray film which reduces patient radiation exposure by 90%. Cone Beam computed tomography (CBCT) creates a three-dimensional image of your teeth, tissue, nerves and bone. CBCT imaging allows Dr. Dennis to detect important aspects of your anatomy that traditional imaging does not.
Hygiene
Routine check-ups and cleanings are recommended every six months for patients with healthy gums. Our experienced hygienist will check your gum health, clean your teeth, and work with you to create a personalized home care routine. A prophylaxis cleaning is the process of removing plaque, tarter and stains above and just below the gum line. If you have inflammation or bone loss, a different hygiene procedure will be diagnosed and discussed to get your mouth healthy and leave you with a bright smile.
